Do I need to have baseball experience to play American Legion Baseball?
Yes! It is important you have a good baseball foundation and knowledge of the game. American Legion Baseball Team is limited to an 18-Player Roster. Our coaches will assess your abilities and coach you to the next level. We believe a supportive and encouraging environment is the key to a well-performing athlete. It does not matter what league you played or if you played "select" baseball, we encourage you to continue your baseball aspirations!
What does it cost to participate in American Legion Baseball?
At Post 1919, our goal is to be an organization with a very low to no cost player fee. In the past 2 years, our player fees were $0 to play on Post 1919 teams. Through the generous donations of American Legion Post 1919 sponsors, we can offer a well-rounded baseball program that does not impede the players or their families financially. We are very transparent in the cost required to manage an American Legion Baseball Team.
