2026 Raffle Rules

Official Raffle Rules

​

  • Organization Conducting Raffle
    This raffle is conducted by American Legion Post 1919, a nonprofit veterans organization. All proceeds from the raffle will be used for charitable or community betterment purposes consistent with the mission of the American Legion.

  • Ticket Sales Period
    Raffle tickets will be sold beginning March 20, 2026 and ending July 4, 2026 at 2:00 PM Central Time. No tickets will be sold after this time.

  • Eligibility
    Participants must be 18 years of age or older to purchase or possess a raffle ticket.

  • Drawing Date and Time
    The drawing for all prizes will occur on July 4, 2026 beginning at 2:00 PM Central Time.

  • Drawing Method
    All raffle ticket stubs will be placed in a drawing receptacle designed so each ticket has an equal opportunity to be drawn.

  • Need Not Be Present to Win
    Winners do not need to be present at the drawing to win. Winners will be notified using the contact information provided on the ticket.

  • Multiple Prizes

  • Winning tickets will be removed from subsequent prize drawings.

  • Individuals who purchased multiple tickets may win more than one prize, provided a different ticket is drawn.

  • Prize Pickup Requirements

  • Only the person listed on the winning ticket may claim the prize.

  • Winners must present valid government-issued identification when claiming a prize.

  • Non-Transferable Tickets
    Raffle tickets are non-transferable and may not be sold, assigned, or transferred after purchase.

  • Taxes and Fees
    Any federal, state, or local taxes associated with a prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.

  • No Cash Value or Substitution
    Raffle tickets have no cash value and prizes may not be exchanged for cash or substituted, except at the discretion of the sponsoring organization.

  • Live Stream of Drawing
    The drawing will be live-streamed via Facebook Live if available, but failure of the live stream will not affect the validity of the drawing.

  • Final Determination
    The decisions of American Legion Post 1919 raffle officials are final regarding the conduct of the raffle and awarding of prizes.
